Postpartum SUPPORT Packages

CONSULTATION: One (free) virtual meeting before contracts are signed to meet and get to know each other.

In-home Prenatal: 1 hour in-home “get to know” you appointment with your PP Doulas.

A Postpartum Doula serves the woman/birthing person and their family in the home after Labor from birth up to about 2-3 months of age. We make sure all your needs are met: Safety, Security, Food, Shelter. We do this by enabling the mother to sleep, shower, and rest by caring for you, your infant, and supporting you in your feeding/ sleep choices. We offer emotional, physical, and logistical support. We will prepare food for your family. Daytime shifts includes logistical support like light vacuuming, washing and sterilizing pump parts and bottles, organization help incorporating infant gear into household, and infant laundry. We are an extra, trained, set of eyes to support you through your postpartum period, providing referrals as needed to support the mother, partner, and children's physical and mental health. The goal is to “mother the mother” helping the family figure out their “new normal” optimizing rest and healing. Additionally, we offer night time support (8 hour shifts) to ease the family in their transition home. Overnight shifts are to optimize family rest and include infant care and bottle/pump part sterilization. Shifts must be booked in advance. Daytime Support is 4 hour shifts - most often between 10-2, but flexibility of scheduling is available. Overnight Shifts are 10pm-6 am (8 hour shifts). Limited flexibility on those hours is available. Please view our packages to see which might be the best fit for your family. If using Maven or Carrot coverage - please understand that we can never guarantee their reimbursement and that they will not cover services outside the stated time frame of your policy.

There is the option to extend postpartum support up to 12 weeks if the Doulas have availability and payment is rendered in full prior to the 5th week of support. 6 week contracts need to be completed within 8 weeks of the infant’s birth and 12 week contracts need to be completed within 14 weeks of the infant’s birth.
